The Democrats need to flip 24 seats nationally in November\u2019s mid-term elections to retake control of the House.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">The Pennsylvania Supreme Court drew a new map for the state\u2019s 18 congressional districts after previously invalidating the existing lines as an unconstitutional gerrymander, finding the Republican-controlled legislature drew them to marginalize Democratic voters.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">\u201cThe suit will highlight the state Supreme Court\u2019s rushed decision that created chaos, confusion, and unnecessary expense in the 2018 election cycle,\u201d Matt Gorman, a spokesman for the National Republican Congressional Committee, said in a statement.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">The court stepped in after lawmakers and Democratic Governor Tom Wolf failed to reach consensus on a new map last week.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Republican U.S. President Donald Trump on Tuesday encouraged Republicans to sue.<\/p>\n<div class=\"Image_container_1tVQo\" tabindex=\"-1\">\n<figure>\n<div class=\"Image_expand-button_KC-tD\">\u00a0\u201cHope Republicans in the Great State of Pennsylvania challenge the new \u2018pushed\u2019 Congressional Map, all the way to the Supreme Court, if necessary,\u201d he wrote on Twitter. \u201cYour Original was correct!
